Structura didn't start as a technology company, and it didn't start as a collection of unrelated services.
It started with a simple mindset: there is almost always a better way to do things.
From the beginning, the company was shaped by a director who had spent time working around construction and infrastructure and saw first-hand how inefficient processes, outdated ways of working and operational gaps could affect projects. Rather than accepting that as simply "the way things are done", he wanted to improve it.
That approach led to the creation of Structura's construction and surveying operations — working on live infrastructure, surveying pits and ducts, scanning railway environments, carrying out site investigations and installing steelwork. The work was practical, demanding and often carried out under real operational pressure. It created an understanding of what actually works on site, rather than what simply looks good on paper.
The cleaning division came from the same mindset. A gap was identified in the market for a more reliable, professional and consistent approach to cleaning for short-term rentals, residential properties and commercial environments. So Structura built a service around solving that problem.
The move into property came through experience rather than theory. After buying and managing residential properties and seeing first-hand how the rental market operates, another set of problems became obvious — from tenant management and property standards to maintenance, compliance, communication and the sheer amount of administration involved in running a portfolio properly.
Again, the response was not to accept the inefficiencies. It was to build a better way of working.
That eventually led to StructuraHub — a platform developed from real operational experience and built around the problems we had already encountered ourselves. It was created first for our own requirements, tested against our own properties and processes, and shaped by the reality of managing them day to day.
Today, Structura brings together three areas of experience: construction and infrastructure, property and property services, and the technology developed to connect and improve them.
